Abstract:

Interest in studying speech genres such as gratitude, compliment, congratulation and wish remains relevant at present. This is not accidental, since they play an important role in public life and contribute to the formation of speech etiquette. The purpose of this work is to consider the speech act of «wish» within the framework of the emotive speech act of «congratulation» in Russian and Iranian linguocultures. The relevance of this topic is due to the fact that etiquette plays a significant role in regulating interpersonal relations. Speech etiquette is distinguished by its national and cultural specificity, which is inextricably linked with the traditions, aesthetic preferences and mentality of different peoples. Traditional features of communication in different cultures are established group patterns of behavior that are reflected in the choice and use of certain methods of interaction. This is manifested in preferences in the use of words as well as of gestures, facial expressions, which ultimately forms a unique national style of communication, or communicative ethnostyle. The article analyzes the forms and constructions of expression of the speech act «wish» in Russian and Persian. The national style of communication is considered in the context of this speech act in Russian and Iranian linguocultures. Particular attention is paid to the influence of extralinguistic factors, such as features of mentality, interpersonal interaction, cultural values, social norms, attitudes, customs and traditions that determine the specifics of communication in these languages.
